Gembalies was founded in 2013 by Frauke Gembalies and Ekatharina Iliadis.

Clean silhouettes, exceptional fabrics, expressive embroidery, and the finest Italian leather and cashmere define the collections. Each piece is guided by a refined aesthetic — understated, sophisticated, and shaped by a meticulous attention to detail.

At the heart of Gembalies are quality, authenticity, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Our ready-to-wear collections are produced by selected ateliers in Italy, France, and Germany, with the highest standards of materials, craftsmanship, and finishing.

All of our production partners are family-run businesses whose artisanal knowledge has been passed down through generations. Tradition, experience, and precision — values that have shaped our designs over the years.

Fine Jewellery

Since 2020, jewellery has been part of the world of Gembalies.

While travelling, we discovered antique amulets and pearls from Asia, which we collected over the years and brought together in unique compositions. This passion eventually inspired us to create our own fine jewellery line.

In 2024, the first designs were brought to life.

Our jewellery is handcrafted in Germany in collaboration with a master goldsmith. Each piece is carefully made by hand, combining a timeless aesthetic with the beauty of carefully selected materials.
